The London City route counted considerably more passengers in 2015 than London Heathrow (95,753 as opposed to 73,629), according to a new interactive tool launched by Eurostat. The “Ready to fly?” tool offers insights not only to Luxembourg’s air traffic but to the biggest airports in the EU.

It serves as a handy tool for people studying the evolution of airports as well as anyone planning a trip.

The top five most important routes from Luxembourg was completed by Porto in second, Munich, Lisbon and London Heathrow. London City was the only destination among the top five to see an increase in the number of flights serving it. All destinations recorded a decrease in the number of passengers over the last year, Eurostat said.
