Organisers of a charity event have raised four figures for two programmes that aid children in the Grand Duchy and in Tanzania.
“We had a super fun evening and raised €3,527 for the Ilula Orphan Program in Tanzania and the online help support at Kanner Jugend Telefon Luxembourg,” Sam Stobart-O’Dea and Helen Clarke wrote in a message to Delano on Thursday. “The proceeds will go entirely towards building a primary school which will have a direct positive impact on the lives of these vulnerable children involved in this program.”
In addition to serving as managing directors of the crèche group, Stobart-O’Dea was speaking on behalf of KJT, and Clarke is president of IOP Luxembourg. Delano donated a pair of two-year print subscriptions as prizes for the quiz soirée.
