The policy, which was announced on Wednesday, takes effect from 1 November 2017.

It means:

  • Checked-in baggage will increase from 15kg to 20kg for all bags;
  • Standard check-in baggage fee will cost €25 as opposed to €35, if added at the time of booking. If added after the time of booking, checked-in bags will cost €40.
  • Only priority boarding customers will be allowed to bring two carry-on bags on the aircraft;
  • All other customers will only be allowed to bring one smaller carry-on bag on board the aircraft, while their second, wheelie bag must be placed in the hold (free of charge) at the boarding gate. An additional 5kg baby bag may be carried on board by customers with infants;
  • A €10 supplement per piece of hold luggage will be applied during Easter and Christmas periods and on longer routes during the peak summer months;
  • Waivers apply to customers travelling with medical items.

Ryanair operates six routes from Luxembourg: to London Stansted, Lisbon, Madrid, Milan, Barcelona and Porto
