  • There are five new attractions at the Schueberfouer, starting on Wednesday 23 August. Paperjam highlighted the “Big Splash Surf Tiki”, the “Fuzzy’s Lachsaloon”, the “Jules Verne Tower”, “Laser Pix,” and “Musikexpress”.
  • Slate.fr, a news website, has come under the majority ownership of Luxembourg holding company, Cattleya Finance, which is owned by Benjamin and Ariane de Rothschild. The board of directors of the fledgling news website will also change.
  • Startups take their time to submit applications for the Fit4Start programme, which offers a grant of €50,000, coaching and a stay at an incubator for four months to 5 successful applicants. The deadline to apply is 28 August. The programme coordinator indicated that they receive the majority of applications in the last few days.
