The two celebs, along with Luxembourg prime minister Xavier Bettel and minister of finance Pierre Gramegna (both DP), have been confirmed as speakers at the event, which is expected to bring in over 1,500 participants from more than 50 countries. 

Snoop Dogg will attend in his role as partner of Casa Verde Capital, which is a California-based VC firm focusing exclusively on the cannabis business, supporting what the company calls the “legal, scalable ‘picks and shovels’ that support the expanding industry”.

Celebrity Billy Zane, who is perhaps best-known for his role in “Titanic” as Rose’s abusive fiancé, Cal, is also in the lineup for the GVS in his role as partner of Parkpine Capital, a VC fund helping high-growth tech ventures scale up. 

This is the first time the GVS will be held in Europe.
