The former head of the secret service, Marco Mille, the head of operations Fränk Schneider, and Srel employee André Kemmer will face criminal charges.

They are accused of breaking data protection and privacy protection laws.

Mille and Kemmer are also accused of illegally sharing a CD. The CD allegedly contains a recording of a conversation between the former prime minister Jean-Claude Juncker and the Grand Duke Henri.

It is not yet known when the trial will start.

The Bommeleeër and Srel affairs led to the resignation of Jean-Claude Juncker and early parliamentary elections in 2013.
