The hunting season began on 14 October and lasts until 17 December. After that, there may be a few more to hunt wild boar until the end of February 2018.

So if you’re planning to go for a walk or want to do some sports in the woods, check the website of Geoportail where all the hunts are registered on a map. You can either see where there are hunts on a specific day, or click on an area and see when there will be a hunt.

Hunters are obliged by law to set up clearly marked signs which indicate that a hunt is in progress.
