The film, reviewed by Delano on Saturday, follows the comeback of the Kachkéis-eating superhero who was featured in the comic books by Lucien Czuga and Roger Leiner from 1998 to 2014.

The brands were featured in the flick, but had to submit to some subtle ribbing.

Fashion store Bram became “Dram” (dream in Luxembourgish). Emile Weber, the travel firm, became “Émile Wibbel” (Wibbel can be roughly translated as fidgeter). Kichechef, the home decorating store, became Kniwwelchef (picky boss). The weekly entertainment magazine Télécran became “Télékrom” (rubbish TV shows).

The full list of brands was published by our sister publication Paperjam.

“Superjhemp Retörns” opens here in “Luxusbuerg” on 24 October. But instead of watching the film at a Kinepolis cinema, you can catch the movie at “Kinoplease”.
