TNS Ilres polled 537 people in Luxembourg in February about the new trend, which enables people to rent cars for short-term periods.

Given Luxembourg’s high car ownership rates (739 motor vehicles per 1,000 resident), it is perhaps not surprising that two-thirds of people polled said they did not expect to use car-sharing in Luxembourg in future.

The proportion of people polled using car-sharing abroad was a little higher at 5%.
