- Renovation work on Findel airport’s terminal B, closed since 2008, are nearly complete and the terminal is expected to reopen in a matter of days. It will have the capacity to handle 700,000 passengers annually.
- Étienne Schneider, the deputy prime minister, has championed Luxembourg’s Spaceresources.lu industry promotion initiative at an event in the US. About 180 people attended an investment conference entitled “The Promise of Space Resources: a Luxembourg Public-Private Initiative” in New York on Monday.
- The Belgian construction firm CIT Blaton marked the 10th anniversary of its grand duchy operations, CBL, with the inauguration of a new Luxembourg HQ.
- The two-year-old French law firm Alto Avocats, which specialises in advising startups, will expand to the grand duchy. The new office will be headed by Arnaud Touati, once he’s called to the Luxembourg Bar.
