- Tokio Marine, a Japanese insurance company, has announced it will move its European headquarters from London to Luxembourg during the first semester of 2018.
- Luxembourg for Finance’s CEO, Nicolas Mackel, has said that Luxembourg may expect to attract up to 3,000 jobs after Brexit over two years.

- Luxembourg’s national committee on data protection has welcomed the ruling by the European court of human rights on the surveillance of electronic communications at work. A member added that Luxembourg’s jurisprudence was often contradictory on the matter.
