Over half the respondents reported driving too fast (52%); other top infractions included using a mobile phone while driving (28%), parking in an unauthorised spot (20%) and not respecting red lights (12%).

Nine percent of respondents admitted to driving under the influence of alcohol.

On the other hand, 28% of respondents claimed to have never committed one of the infractions listed.

In some cases, age plays a role in the figures, for example those who used a mobile phone while driving. While 28% of the respondents admitted to this infraction, the difference in age groups was significant: 47% of those under 24 admitted to this offense, compared to just 8% in the 65+ age group.
