Delano: The new “Welcome to Luxembourg” series of seminars launches next week. What inspired the Paperjam Club to start such a series in English?

JD: It’s the multicultural nature of Luxembourg that prompted us to develop this format. All sectors of the grand duchy hire people with a variety of nationalities who are able to understand one another, thanks to the language of Shakespeare. This is no exception for the club, which has a large number of English-speaking members. However, it is not easy to understand the Luxembourg ecosystem when you are a foreigner. What better way to find your way than to have an informative reference point? That’s why the "Delano Seminar: Welcome to Luxembourg" series was born.

Who are the seminars aimed at?

Anyone within our member companies who needs to get to know Luxembourg better--mainly expatriates, of course. The aim is to reduce unknowns and the obstacles encountered in everyday life, both socially and professionally.

The first seminar deals with sorting out accommodation and insurance. What other topics are in the pipeline, and what kind of speakers are you inviting for the seminars?

The other topics will be: solving the communication puzzle, leisure and family, personal finance.

The speakers on these topics are part of the Paperjam Club ecosystem: they are trustworthy people whose core activity is directly related to the subject of the seminar.
