Just under one in five people polled post their opinions online, according to the results of a survey conducted in Luxembourg 

TNS Ilres polled 1,500 people living in Luxembourg at the start of 2017 to find out more about their internet habits.

They found that just 18% of people posted their opinions online, though the proportion was higher for men at 22%.

Women were the most likely to look for health information online with three quarters of female respondents admitting to this compared with 59% of men.

Eight out of ten people used online banking, seven out of ten used online social networks, almost six out of ten used the internet to call people and seven out of ten went online to book holidays.
