The annual event moved from its former site in Sandweiler to the capital where thousands of people turned up to shop, eat authentic Indian and Nepalese food and enjoy traditional song and dance.
Saturday's bazaar was preceded by a formal gala on Friday, which was attended by NGO partners as well as Luxembourg City mayor Lydie Polfer and development cooperation minister Romain Schneider.
AEIN was founded by two parents who adopted a child from India 50 years ago. For the past 20 years, they have also supported projects in Nepal. Since they were set up, the NGO has supported over 650 projects.
AEIN is co-financed by the development ministry up to 80%.
