Over 100 students from nine different schools spanning Turkey to the UK received specialist performance-related workshops at the Ista theatre festival, hosted at the ISL.
Performing with masks from Trestle theatre and puppets, drumming, Bollywood dance and physical acting were among the varied and fascinating workshops offered students thanks to the expert Ista team.
The workshops culminated in a final performance where students shared their work on the morning of 2 April.
Ista is a not-for-profit international arts organisation bringing together young people, artists and teachers from different countries to experience, create and learn about theatre.
Among the participating schools were ACS Hillingdon (UK), Alexander Pushkin School (Russia), American International School of Bucharest (Romania), American International School of Budapest (Hungary), American School in London (UK), International School Béarn (France), Uskudar American Academy (Turkey) and Wiesbaden High School (Germany).
