The dance was hosted at the Cessange Cultural Centre where scores of children, from infants to teens, laughed and danced the afternoon away to Gaelic folk music.
It was organised by the Luxembourg branch of Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann, an association promoting Irish culture through music, dancing and singing.
Adults had a chance to don their dancing shoes at an adult’s céilí later in the evening. The two dances were among a handful of events organised in Luxembourg to celebrate Ireland’s patron saint’s day.
