Media: Cactus and Yellow.lu topped the joint RTL Media Awards and Grand Prix paperJam Communication Marketing Design 2012 ceremony on Wednesday night.
The RTL Media Awards, organised by RTL and IP Luxembourg, honours the best Luxembourg-produced advertisements in three categories--television/cinema, radio and internet. Ten finalists in each category were selected out of 166 submissions by jury and then voted on by the general public.
The “Politiciens” campaign--produced by Moskito Productions for Yellow.lu that features a three-armed prime minister Jean-Claude Juncker giving sage advice--swept the boards. It won in the TV/cinema spot, radio spot and people’s choice categories.
The “Violence” campaign--produced by Comed for the equal opportunities ministry--won in the fourth category, internet advertising
Third Grand Prix paperJam Communication, Marketing, Design
The Grand Prix paperJam Communication, Marketing, Design honours the best development and execution of a global communication strategy. Out of 127 submissions, the independent jury of industry experts narrowed down the list to 50 projects before selecting the top ten (see photos).
The “Starzone” campaign--produced by Createam for Cactus--took first place. Second and third place went to, respectively, Yellow.lu for its “Politiciens” campaign, and the Centre National de l’Audiovisuel for its “Saison 10/11” campaign produced by first time Grand Prix winner Bunker Palace.
The Awards Night is organised by the paperJam Business Club--like Delano, owned by Maison Moderne--and supported by Imprimerie Faber, Office Freylinger, MediaXim, Rockhal and D’Co, in cooperation with CENARP, the Chamber of Commerce, the Chamber of Trades, CRP Henri Tudor, Design Luxembourg, Luxinnovation, Markcom and the ministry of economy and trade.
