British comedian and author Andy Zaltzman is the guest performer at Konrad Comedy Club next week.
Best known for his political material, Andy Zaltzman has worked on numerous radio shows including BBC 4’s Political Animal and The Department as well as weekly satirical news podcast The Bugle, co-hosted with Daily Show stalwart John Oliver.
Zaltzman’s material manages to avoid being too preachy or ranting, and one reviewer says he “punctuates his set with some of the most absurd surrealist humour you're likely to hear.”
Zaltzman is also a huge cricket fan and has his own dedicated Twitter account, which he describes as: “The most misinformative cricket feed currently available to humanity.”
Huffington Post blogs editor Jody Thompson described Zaltzman “amazing” and said that although his recent set at a Kilburn comedy club was “a work-in-progress” it was “still better than many arena stand up routines, roping together religion, politics and cricket, then skewering the lot of them.”
Zaltzman comes to Luxembourg courtesy of Luxair and Greenfield to perform two shows at Konrad Comedy Club. As usual, Delano has one pair of tickets to give away to each show.
