Picelectronic is an interactive musical fair for the whole family. During the afternoons of Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 October culture venue CarréRototondes will stage performances, exhibits, ciné-concerts, DJ sets and workshops, all aimed at introducing youngsters to the world of music and sound.

Performers include the not so typical Les Sonneurs de Bin’s orchestra and the time bending Rick le Cube. Toddlers can crawl around the “Cabane” to the sound of singer Jean Bermes. And the whole brood can chill out with electronica DJ Yeti.

Kids nine and up can build their own radio, help create a radio broadcast, or get a primer in DJing from Yves Stephany in one of the workshops (held in Luxembourgish and French). These are held starting at 10 a.m. and must be booked in advance; contact CarréRototondes via +352 2662 2045 or [email protected].

The main festival takes place from 2 to 7 p.m. Tickets are €14 or €8 for those aged 27 and younger, and are valid for an entire afternoon.

But Delano readers have the chance to win a free pass to the main festival for their entire family.

To enter the drawing, send an email with the subject “PICelectroNIC”--including your full name, number of members in your family and your contact details--to [email protected] by 17 October. The winning family will be contacted via email.
