Every two years, a number of Kirchberg companies with collections of contemporary art open their doors to the public. This will be the case again on Sunday 29 September.

Since 2006, Private Art Kirchberg has been a biennial event at which visitors can discover works of contemporary art collected by companies based in Kirchberg. The 2024 edition of this event will be held on Sunday 29 September. A&O Shearman, Arendt, Clearstream, Deutsche Bank, the European Investment Bank (EIB) and Pictet will be taking part. Each company will be offering guided tours and activities for the whole family.

For this year’s event, , director of Mudam, the museum partner, has shared some of her favourites. Visitors can scan a QR code next to each selected work to find out more about it.

This event is a unique opportunity to discover contemporary art collections that are reserved for the teams of these companies and their customers and visitors, and to enter buildings that are not usually accessible to the public. Each collection and display has its own specificities: video at A&O Shearman, photography at Arendt, works selected by the staff at Clearstream, big names in German art at Deutsche Bank (it will be their last exhibition before they move to Findel), the latest ‘hair-raising’ acquisitions at the EIB or a focus on Swiss art at Pictet, “but art that corresponds to an open Switzerland at the crossroads of Europe.”

will take place Sunday 29 September, 11am to 6pm.
