The Minett Park Fond-de-Gras heritage railway will be marking the 70th anniversary of the reign of Elizabeth II in style on Sunday 22 May. The Fond-de-Gras is hosting a day of events with the Cockerill English steam locomotive on Sunday 22 May as it celebrates the platinum jubilee of the reign of Queen Elizabeth II. Special Cockerill 503 locomotive races start at 1.45 pm and 4.10 pm.

Monodrama Festival

The Monodrama Festival returns for its 12th edition with one-act plays in the spotlight.  The festival’s line-up this year includes 13 productions in a mix of languages, including English. Among them is “At Home with Will Shakespeare” on 25 May, which brings the bard to life as he reflects on his career.

Feast on theatre at Feats

After a two-year, pandemic-induced absence, the Festival of European Anglophone Theatrical Societies returns and will be hosted by New World Theatre Club in the Kulturhaus theatre in Mersch. Each year Feats is hosted by a different theatre group, and it returns to the grand duchy in 2022 for the eighth time courtesy of New World Theatre Club.

Beautiful Decay Festival
