Here are a few excursion ideas to keep kids and older generations interested.

National Natural History Museum

The MNHN dazzles young explorers with its T-Rex head replica, fossils, digital games and more. Parents can enjoy a browse through the gift shop, with its range of nature and science books.

Henri Tudor Museum

It’s electrifying! This Rosport-based museum provides plenty of opportunity for kids to play with light switches, while the English-style gardens and grounds are ideal for a stroll or picnic.

Klangwee Hoscheid

This 6.5km circular, sonorous trail is best for kids aged 8+, but they’ll enjoy banging on wood, chiming bells and more. Starting point at the Hoscheid church, then just follow the signs.

Kahler

Graffiti artist Alain Welter made his hometown a bit cooler with a project he started in 2017. Kahler has several murals on building facades, brightening even the dreariest day. Kids will have fun spotting graffiti crows, horses and more, while parents can snap away taking photos throughout the walk.

Butterfly Garden

Nestled in Grevenmacher is the Butterfly Garden, where kids will enjoy chasing cobalt butterflies. After the visit, pop into the site’s café for a tea or cake, or take a walk on the path along the Moselle.
