Watching the chef at work again while you wait for your meal? Yes! But where?

In Bertrange

Formerly known as Atelier Windsor and renamed after the latter's move to the city centre, La Manufacture in Bertrange still benefits from the reputation of the Windsor group, which remains at the helm, and from the great décor of the place, with its superb kitchen showcasing the work of chef de cuisine Fabrizio Lo Votrico and pastry chef Luis Antunes. A combo that certainly delivers!

In Steinfort

Mathieu Van Wetteren is undoubtedly one of the sharpest and most appreciated young chefs on the Luxembourg gastronomic scene. In his restaurant in Steinfort, a former local pharmacy, the combination of a very cosy room and an open kitchen where you can see him at work are all assets that highlight his colourful and tasty creations.

At the Cloche d'Or

Maison Mazelier's grand project at the Cloche d'Or and its titanic open kitchen with multiple culinary influences had to overcome many challenges! First of all, the discreet inauguration when the restaurant came out of lockdown, then the floods in July which brought everything to a standstill after only a few weeks of opening... All the more reasons to go and enjoy some good food when it soon reopens!

In Arlon

You barely need to cross the Belgian border to find yourself in one of the most beautiful establishments in the region, located in the former Callemeyn barracks on the heights of Arlon. The restaurant Le Victor, in addition to bringing together gourmets thanks to its seasonal menu, which is always very successful, and its trendy but not pompous décor, offers its customers everything that the kitchen and chef Clément Petitjean can give to prepare their good dishes.

The “side” views

For these honourable mentions, the views are not showcased directly. But with a well-placed glance or an improvised walk, you can still get a good look at these beautiful starred kitchens in full rush.

- When you arrive in the Château de Bourglinster, a small glance to the left will give you an unobstructed view of the chef René Mathieu, his talented second Archibald de Prince and the whole Distillery team in action. Always impressive!

- At Léa Linster's, you'll have to turn to the right when you arrive (or to the left when you leave, duh) to see the Young Chef of the Year 2021 Louis Linster in his brand new kitchen!

- To catch a glimpse, this time, of the prowess of the newly crowned Young Chef of the Year 2022, Paul Cabayé, at Les Jardins d'Anaïs, slowing down the pace between the reception of the establishment and the dining room will allow you to sneak a peek at the kitchens through the small glass window
