Need a private room to negotiate or discuss discreetly? But it would also be nice if you could eat there at the same time... Don’t panic, Foodzilla has nine good addresses that perfectly meet these criteria.

There are circumstances that require a place for a discreet discussion: signing a contract, sensitive negotiations, a C-level job interview... And what better way to relax participants than to combine this moment with the pleasures of the table? Foodzilla has selected nine addresses that lend themselves to this type of discussion and where the quality of the table and the service will also be on the agenda.

Mu at Sofitel Le Grand-Ducal

Mu is known for its incredible view of the old town from its 8th floor. Its menu is largely French cuisine, but also features local produce from the grand duchy and some international digressions to satisfy as many palates as possible. In addition to the main dining room, the restaurant of this five-star hotel offers two private rooms. The first can accommodate up to 12 people. For less than 10 guests, participants can choose from the à la carte menu. For more than 10 people, a tailor-made menu is available, for greater fluidity and efficiency in the service. A second room, called the panoramic lounge, can accommodate up to 40 people.

Les Jardins d’Anaïs

The gastronomic restaurant Les Jardins d’Anaïs offers its customers two private rooms. They can accommodate up to 10 people. The Caramel room is located in the heart of the restaurant but privacy is assured thanks to the sliding wooden doors. This space has a view to the side of the terrace. The Acacia lounge is located near the entrance and its windows overlook Mansfeld Park and St. Cunégonde Square. With its library and fireplace, the atmosphere is warm and intimate.

The Place d’Armes

This five-star hotel-restaurant is located in a historic building in the city centre. It has three magnificent vaulted lounges in its basement that can be used for private functions. The Mansfeld room can accommodate up to 24 guests at an oval table or 30 in theatre style. The beautiful chandeliers and bookcases filled with art books create a refined and cultural atmosphere. The Vauban room is distinguished by its incredible exposed stone walls. A unique and refined setting. Finally, the Louvigny room is smaller and has a maximum capacity of six people.

La Mirabelle

This restaurant on Place Dargent is renowned for its quality and freshness of food. If you don’t want to sit in the dining room, where the tables are well spaced out and allow for a discreet meal for two or four, the restaurant also has private lounges that can accommodate larger tables.

Le Clairefontaine

A gastronomic address not to be missed in the city centre, this restaurant, whose cuisine is led by chef Arnaud Magnier, has a private lounge for up to 20 guests. We love the exclusive atmosphere and above all the very fine cuisine of this chef who marvellously handles land-sea combinations.

Fani

This Michelin-starred restaurant offers a lounge away from the dining room for a more private lunch. Six guests can sit around the table. Sliding partitions prevent prying eyes from looking in, without completely cutting off the participants from the atmosphere of the room.

Hostellerie du Grünewald

This hotel-restaurant has a private lounge for 12 people. The space is separate from the main room and can be closed off with a curtain. For smaller meals, we also recommend the room with the fireplace which offers a very warm and intimate setting, with well-spaced tables.

SixSeven

The SixSeven is located on the top floor of the Royal Hamilius. For the private lounge, you climb to the seventh floor, more than 30 metres high. The alcove is designed as a private dining room, away from the public eye and the surrounding noise. The setting is chic and contemporary thanks to the design by Patrick Jouin. The space can accommodate 10 people comfortably, 12 if you squeeze in a little.

Léa Linster

This restaurant was founded by Léa Linster, the only Luxembourg chef to have won the Bocuse d’Or, and is now run by her son, Louis Linster. The cuisine is as tasty and high quality as ever. The restaurant has, of course, a main room, but also a private lounge located in a winter garden which opens for a minimum of six people.

But also...

The private clubs Cercle Munster and Tero House17 have several private rooms where meals can be organised, but access is reserved for members and their guests.
