Lehning Laboratories, experts in botanical medicines since 1935, are celebrating their 90th anniversary in 2025! To mark this anniversary, the French company is launching L52Gommes, an exclusive natural health solution, the fruit of its expertise and commitment to natural health.

Lehning Laboratories is first and foremost a family story. Founded by René Lehning in 1935, the company prospered by offering effective treatments for the Spanish flu. Taken over by René’s son Gérard in 1972, the company grew internationally, notably with emblematic medicines such as L52 and L72. Today, under the management of Stéphane Lehning, the family business has consolidated its position as an expert in botanical medicines, while retaining its independence thanks to a 100% family shareholding.

Pioneers in the field of gummies for over 30 years, Lehning Laboratories are launching a new dietary supplement for their 90th anniversary: L52Gommes. These 90 sugar-free chewing gums are formulated with plant extracts and essential oils for optimum respiratory comfort.

It's not just a company, it's a real human and scientific adventure. For 90 years, we've been passionate about studying the active ingredients of the plant world, with the aim of creating a special link between the richness of plants and the health needs of everyone.

As part of its commitment to sustainable development, Lehning favours responsible harvesting of its plants, 85% of which are grown organically. Located in a 15-hectare wooded park, they promote biodiversity and are committed to protecting the environment, notably through the installation of beehives and the use of solar panels.

Building on their expertise, Lehning Laboratories continue to develop natural, effective solutions for the health and wellbeing of their consumers. They are also present in other natural health market segments, such as micronutrition and apitherapy.

In 2025, the Lehning Group is announcing an ambitious property and industrial investment plan to support its development. These strategic projects include the construction of the new headquarters for Laboratoire Lescuyer, which specialises in micronutrition. The Group also plans to create a new production site dedicated to its Animal Health division. Located in Auvergne, this site will triple production capacity in this fast-growing sector.
