Bikers in Luxembourg are joining forces under the moniker the “Maison du Motard” (the house of motorcyclists) in a bid to improve relations with other road users.

Luxembourg’s automobile club, ACL, announced the new federation of 14 motorcycle clubs on Friday.

“This alliance, which is unprecedented in the grand duchy, intends to speak with one voice to political decision makers,” the club said in a statement.

Its goal is to promote two-wheeled transport as an alternative to four-wheels and ease congestion on the country’s roads. As part of this mission, the Maison du Motard is promoting best practices through training and awareness-raising.

Coordinated by Daniel Gliedner, the platform will organise its first training courses soon.
