Law firm Allen & Overy announced the promotion of three new partners--Thomas Berger, Sylvain Cailleau and Catherine Di Lorenzo--as well as six new counsel and nine senior associates.

Berger, who joined the company in 2013, heads the litigation department and specialises in domestic and cross-border litigation and pre-litigation matters within the realm of civil commercial and corporate law. He is a member of the AML legal expert group with the Luxembourg Private Equity Association (LPEA) and the PSD II working group of the Luxembourg Bankers' Association (ABBL).

Cailleau who specialises in company law and mergers and acquisitions has been promoted to partner in the corporate department. Having joined Allen & Overy in 2018, he also works for a number of alternative investment managers to develop and expand their platform in Luxembourg.

Di Lorenzo, a leading Luxembourg lawyer for strategic data protection matters, heads the IP, Data and Tech practice. She joined the law firm in 2011 and also advises clients in relation to cybersecurity issues.

Guilhèm Becvort, Laurent Goyer, Sandy Mammola, Jennifer Rouault, Johanna Tschurtschenthaler and Victoria Woestmann have been promoted to counsel.
