Alter Domus, a fund administration and corporate services provider for the alternative investment industry, on Tuesday 17 September, that it had entered into an outsourcing partnership with Partners Group. Partners Group is one of the largest firms in the global private markets sector. The partnership, which commenced on 1 June 2024, focuses on providing operational support for a broad range of Partners Group’s closed-end product offerings, spanning investment structures across the US, Europe and Asia.
According to Alter Domus, the partnership commits both firms to joint investments in innovation and a technology roadmap, alongside governance dedicated to the relationship. It is expected to enhance the efficiency and service quality across Partners Group’s operations globally. Alter Domus’ role includes ongoing investments in integration and service delivery to support Partners Group’s business growth.

Andreas Knecht, chief operations officer at Partners Group, stated that Alter Domus was chosen as a global outsourcing partner following a rigorous selection process. Alter Domus’ ability to customise services to meet the specific needs of the firm’s bespoke client solutions, he added, was key for Partners Group.
Alter Domus currently operates with more than 5,100 employees across 39 global offices, solely dedicated to serving the alternative investment industry. In Luxembourg alone, the firm employed 1,075 people as of March 2023. The firm provides a broad range of services, including fund administration, private debt services, corporate services, transfer pricing and domiciliation services, among others.
