IT consulting services company Amexio has won the Opentext ‘Reseller Partner of the Year’ award. The Luxembourg-based company, which originated in France, has been recognised for its commitment to digital transformation.

At Opentext World, the annual gathering of technology leaders in Las Vegas, enterprise content management and digital solutions specialist Amexio won the Opentext ‘Reseller Partner of the Year’ award. The award underlines the company’s commitment to digital transformation. Amexio, which has offices in Windhof, is working to develop ever more innovative solutions, with a focus on “collaboration, innovation and integration.”

“The Amexio Group’s proactive support strategy is aimed primarily at relieving the burden on customers, reducing interruptions and optimising Opentext environments. This results in very satisfied customers. Their dedication to innovation, combined with their ability to grow with us into new markets, has made them an invaluable partner. Their impressive growth of over 300% in 2024 is a clear reflection of the value they bring to our joint customers,” commented Opentext’s senior vice president channels & alliances, Joel Kremke.

Since its creation in 2006, the company has grown considerably and is now Europe’s leading ECM integrator, i.e., the implementation, development and deployment of enterprise content management solutions at European level. In Luxembourg, Amexio’s business was born out of the acquisition of GAM Consult in 2017. Among its successes, the company cites the work it has done for an unnamed accounting firm in Luxembourg.

2024, a pivotal year for the company

In 2024, the company also claims to have made other remarkable advances, “in particular an exceptional 300% growth in revenues generated for Opentext. This growth reflects the company’s development strategy in enterprise content management, not only in existing regions, but also in new markets such as the DACH (Germany, Austria, Switzerland), France, the UK and the Nordic countries,” said the press release. This year, the company led a project to integrate Opentext Media Management with Extended Enterprise Content Management: “a world first. This innovative combination enables organisations to take full advantage of rich media resources, such as videos, images and audio files, in their environment. In sectors such as intelligence and law enforcement, this revolutionary combination responds to the massive increase in volumes of rich media, improving their operational efficiency,” the company said in its communiqué.

“Being the first to define and implement the integration between Opentext Media Management and xECM on a global scale makes us extremely proud to be setting new standards in digital transformation. Our partnership with Opentext has been instrumental in our exceptional growth, and we remain committed to providing our customers with the tools they need to succeed in an ever-changing digital landscape,” said Amexio Group CEO Xavier Morcillo.

In 2023-2024, the company was named ‘growth champion’ by the French media outlet Les Echos. This year, the company became a majority shareholder in the consulting and development company Atol. Last year, the Luxembourg entity posted a gross profit of €6.3m and a profit of €1.03m. It employed 56 people.
