Amicorp Fund Services has announced the appointment of Clive Short as commercial director for its Luxembourg team. In this role, Short will focus on expanding the company’s European client base and enhancing its management of alternative investment funds, said the firm in a press statement.

Amicorp Fund Services has appointed Clive Short as commercial director in Luxembourg, effective 7 August, to enhance its European client base. Short, who brings nearly two decades of experience in managing and supporting pan-European private equity, real estate and infrastructure funds, previously worked with Barings, Deutsche Bank and Axa Investment Managers in investment management roles. He later transitioned to senior positions at service providers Intertrust Group and TMF Group, where he most recently served as head of fund sales in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Kin Lai, chief executive officer of Amicorp Fund Services, noted in a press statement that Luxembourg remains a critical hub for alternative investment funds, including private equity, venture capital, real estate, infrastructure and private debt--areas central to the company’s growth strategy. He added, “With his extensive experience and impressive track record, Clive has the right credentials and know-how to drive commercial growth for Amicorp Fund Services in this critical market. We are delighted that he has agreed to join us to add additional support to our team.”

As of August 2024, Amicorp Fund Services has nine employees in Luxembourg.
