Luxembourg recruitment firm Anderson Wise has opened an Irish desk.
“It makes a lot of sense to work across the two largest fund domiciles in Europe,” Andrew Notter, a firm partner, said in a press release on 1 September, referring to Ireland and Luxembourg. “The shared management structures across the two countries allow us to support the leadership team of existing and future clients.”
Notter further stated: “One of our aims is to open the candidate corridor between both jurisdictions. There already exists a flow of candidates between the countries and Anderson Wise will help facilitate these moves more easily. We are well placed to highlight the benefits of how international experience can develop their careers and offer further job opportunities.”
The firm hired Pawel Galanty, who has several years of experience in Luxembourg’s recruitment sector, as recruitment and business manager of its Ireland desk.
“We will not have a physical office in Ireland,” Darren Robinson, Anderson Wise’s managing partner, told Delano on Wednesday. Virtual working during the pandemic “has proven we can do this from anywhere. We have launched the desk serving the Irish market from Luxembourg.”
