Angélique Kidjo and Alexandre Tharaud are no exception. On 19 March, «Africa’s premier diva» and the renowned French concert pianist will meet to serenade the public of the Grand Auditorium. 

Lending their combined talents to Joséphine Baker, Édith Piaf and Claude Nougaro, the duo will revive      the most beautiful love hymns from the history of jazz and French variety.

Whilst the project «Les Mots d’Amour» is a tribute, it also opens a space for encounters. A meeting between styles and generations, between two generous and curious artists who know how to transcend the boundaries of musical genres like no other. These are immortal melodies for an audience waiting to be touched.

No need for a potion to fall under the spell of music. A voice, ten fingers and the subdued cocoon of the Philharmonie's Grand Auditorium suffice for a magical evening full of emotive moments...We look forward to seing you there !
