With nearly 20 years of experience, Laniez advises institutional clients in arbitration and litigation in the areas of commercial, corporate and insolvency law. He joins CMS from NautaDutilh and brings with him his team, including senior associate Florence Remouchamps. As head of the dispute resolution practice, Laniez will work with partner and head of employment .

Before CMS, Laniez spent nearly 10 years at the law firm NautaDutilh, where he worked in litigation & arbitration. Prior to that, he worked at Loyens & Loeff in Luxembourg, Cabinet Cazamajour in Bordeaux and at De Meester in Luxembourg. Laniez has also been a guest lecturer at the University of Luxembourg since November 2020, giving lectures in international arbitration for the master in European business law.
