The Hong Kong-based jewellery brand APM Monaco is to set up shop in the Grand-Rue by the summer with a single-brand shop that is unique in the greater region.

The brand presents itself as the leader in the silver jewellery segment. It claims to manufacture 7,000 pieces of jewellery per day with one million stones set, mainly zirconia and freshwater pearls, according to its website.

Its origins date back to 1982 when Ariane Prette founded APM (hence the abbreviation) in Monaco with her son Philippe.

First shop in the greater region

Today, APM Monaco has 400 boutiques around the world, but none in the greater region. You have to go as far as Lille, Paris or Zurich to find single-brand shops, even if APM Monaco is distributed through multi-brand stores in Luxembourg and elsewhere in the greater region.

The Luxembourg company in charge of managing this new shop (APM Monaco Luxembourg Sàrl) was incorporated at the beginning of March. The development works are scheduled to last three months, so the store should be ready to open its door by early summer.
