Law firm Arendt announced on 15 January 2024 the launch of its new representative office in Frankfurt, Germany.

Arendt’s new Frankfurt office will be the central point of contact for the firm’s German-speaking clients, as well as international clients who wish to structure products for the German market, noted a press release published on 15 January 2024. The office will be headed by Constanze Jacobs, who previously worked as head of transactions, structuring and asset advisory at Commerz Real; associate director at HSBC; vice president-senior legal counsel at IKB Deutsche Industriebank; and senior associate at Arendt & Medernach.

“Through its local presence, Arendt will be in a position to more closely provide guidance to asset managers and investors already active in the Luxembourg market or interested in the Luxembourg fund centre,” said Jacobs in the communiqué. “We are also looking forward to strengthening our ties even further with our peers from major international and local law firms and continue to serve them with respect to all Luxembourg matters.”

Jacobs will be supported by senior associate in investment management Paul Hoffmann, while partners and will coordinate German market activities between the Frankfurt office and Arendt’s headquarters in Luxembourg. Jost and Pauly were both .
