On Tuesday, 1 April 2025, an enthusiastic audience gathered for a captivating conference on illicit artworks and forgeries in the art market. This event provided a fascinating deep dive into the critical issues surrounding authenticity and integrity in the art world--an ever-evolving market where these concerns are more relevant than ever.

Stéphanie Breydel de Groeninghe, co-founder of Ts’Art and art historian, shared her expertise by shedding light on some of the most notorious art frauds in history and presenting modern techniques for verifying artwork authenticity. Her insightful presentation sparked meaningful discussions on the ethical and economic challenges facing the art market today.

The conversation continued in a convivial setting, where participants had the opportunity to exchange ideas over an aperitif while discovering Eva L’Hoest’s exhibition, “The Mindful Hand.” This unique presentation explores the influence of imaging technologies on perception and memory, redefining our relationship with landscapes and artistic gestures.
