BDO Luxembourg, an accounting, audit and corporate services provider, has named Alain Lam as its new managing partner, effective 1 October 2024. on 19 September 2024, Lam will succeed , who has led the firm in recent years.
Lam, who joined BDO Luxembourg in 2017, brings over 20 years of experience in the financial and corporate services sector. Throughout his tenure, he has been a member of the executive committee and has spearheaded several strategic initiatives. In his new role, he will focus on driving innovation and delivering client-oriented solutions with a strong emphasis on quality.
In a statement regarding his new role, Lam expressed his commitment to continuing the firm’s progress. He noted that the firm’s core values of collaboration and agility have been crucial to its achievements and expressed his readiness to work closely with the firm’s teams to build on its existing foundation.
Outgoing managing partner Croisé endorsed the transition, expressing confidence in Lam’s capability to advance the firm. In a press release, Croisé acknowledged the growth BDO Luxembourg has seen under his leadership and conveyed optimism about Lam’s future role, supported by a newly established leadership team.
For the 2022-2023 financial year, BDO Luxembourg a turnover of €78.8m. As of March 2024, the firm employed approximately 640 people in the grand duchy.
