Prime minister Xavier Bettel has left hospital after four days at the CHL. 

Given the improvement in his health, Xavier Bettel left around lunchtime on Thursday. The prime minister had been admitted with breathing difficulties on Sunday after testing positive for covid-19. He spend four days being treated at the Centre hospitalier de Luxembourg, where his condition at one stage was described as serious but stable. Bettel will resume his duties as of Friday 9 July, when the signatory delegation granted to finance minister Pierre Gramegna ends. The prime minister will telework for the remainder of the week, which is also the end of his isolation period. Bettel thanked the staff at the CHL for their professionalism, determination and enthusiasm.
