In an increasingly digitalised world, businesses expect their bank to provide agile and secure tools tailored to their specific needs. BGL BNP Paribas is launching My Business Banking – a platform designed to make day-to-day financial management easier for professional legal entities.

Payments, data retrieval, transaction monitoring, access to credit lines … business banking comprises a wide range of operations. “Professional users have specific needs and require access to specialised features that enable them to work more efficiently while ensuring the security of their transactions,” explains Romain Girst, Head of Retail Banking at BGL BNP Paribas. “Our aim is to position ourselves as a trusted partner to economic players and to provide them with the best possible support. To this end, we have created a management platform that is dedicated to businesses*.

For seamless, secure and independent management

Until now, professionals have used Web Banking – which was developed with individuals in mind – or Multiline. With My Business Banking, they now have a tool that is tailored to their needs. “The interface has been designed entirely with businesses in mind and includes advanced access and rights management features,” says Christophe Wagner, Head of Espaces Entrepreneurs. “This makes it possible, for example, to make sure there is no confusion between private and business accounts, or to set up precise rules for encoding and validating payments.”

A manager could thus grant their accountant access for consultation purposes only, while an administrative employee could have the right to enter transactions but without being able to validate them.

Enhanced monitoring and visibility

My Business Banking centralises all information regarding a company’s accounts: movements, payments, bank cards, credit, administrative documents, etc. You can monitor card limits, ask for cards to be blocked, or add a new card if needed. Managers also benefit from an up-to-date view of their outstanding loans and can access the documents they need for their accounts in just a few clicks. A secure messaging module allows you to talk directly with a bank adviser.

Increased efficiency via tools designed with everyday use in mind

The platform also incorporates features designed to streamline repetitive processes. Batch payments, for example, can be made by importing a simple file – a handy feature when it comes to monthly salaries. The same file can be reused each month or modified as needed. “Professionals now have a complete platform at their disposal that is aligned with their needs – and this solution is only going to get better,” emphasises Romain Girst.
