The 2022 edition of the Business Partnership Facility will feature a second call for projects and an increased scope.

Development cooperation and humanitarian affairs minister Franz Fayot (LSAP) and the director of international affairs at the chamber of commerce Cindy Terebe presented the Business Partnership Facility's new edition on 20 April. They highlighted new features such as implementing a two-stage call for projects, the first one with a closing date in May and a second one with a submission date in October. The Business Partnership Facility’s scope has also been broadened to include all projects that can contribute to the achievement of the 17 sustainable development goals.

Lux-Development, the implementation angency of the Luxembourg Cooperation, will offer improved support to encourage the creation of partnerships. It will make available a digital matchmaking platform allowing those who register to present their project.

Tereba reiterated the support of the chamber of commerce for the Business Partnership Facility and encouraged Luxembourg companies to take the plunge after two years of low economic activity against the backdrop of the pandemic.

During the presentation the organisers chose to honour Senegal, a long-standing priority partner country of Luxembourg.
