The accommodation reservation giant, Booking.com, has announced the transfer of 12 of its 14 service centres to the Luxembourg group Majorel. 

Heavily hit by travel restrictions, Booking.com, which won’t return to pre-crisis revenue until the end of 2022 and profit until the end of next year, continues to try to advance its booking technology.

The company born in the Netherlands in 1996 has decided to transfer 12 of the 14 internal customer experience (CX) service centres in Europe, Asia-Pacific and America to Majorel Group Luxembourg. Booking.com will retain its in-house support centres in Amsterdam and Manchester.

Majorel Group Luxembourg was born from the convergence of interests of Bertelsmann and the African capital investment company Saham at the end of 2018.

Booking.com is available in 43 languages ​​and offers more than 28 million listings for accommodation in total, including more than 6.2 million listings for houses, apartments and other unique places to stay. The site also allows offers 232 million verified traveler reviews.
