Munchies Burger, the brand new
The latest address from the Black Sheep group (Schuman, Bella Ciao, Häetz, Partigiano), Munchies Burger offers a short but well-balanced menu. The beef is free-range, the bread is homemade and the sides range from classic fries to sweet potato fries and salads. For Paperjam, it's tried and tested, except for the classic fries- which were floury. Read the .

Café Bel Air, classics revisited
This neighbourhood address run by Pierre Adam has its die-hard fans. It has to be said that the burgers here are particularly good, made exclusively with fresh produce and a few original recipes, perfectly tailored to their loyal customers. But you still need to be lucky enough to get a table (booking is essential, as you'll have guessed!). Beautiful selection of beers and wines is to discover, which does nothing to spoil the pleasure.

Tomi's Italian Burgers, the gourmet version
Italian-style burgers? The idea may seem far-fetched, but it's tasty! On the menu, beef of course, but also veal or chicken, and even semi-cooked tuna. Depending on the recipe, you can add burrata, pancetta, sucrine, candied onions, etc. As you can see, this is an improved version of the simple sandwich with dodgy cheese. What's more, to enjoy your burger, you can sit comfortably at the table, just like in a classic restaurant, and not just on a high table.

Burger Brothers, smash burger
An address specialising in burgers, with halal meat. The establishment located on Rue des Bains has added smash burgers to its menu (made from a ball of meat crushed on the grill), which are characterized by patties whose meat juice is caramelized during cooking, giving them a crispy texture. All the products are fresh, tasty and of good quality. As for the decor, the Pacman is the emblem of the house. A counter and a few tables allow tasting on the spot.

Coppers, before the concert
Out of town, we like the burgers at Coppers in Belval. Ideal before a concert at the Rockhal. You can sink your teeth into the rustic buns, which are packed with juicy meat, lots of cheese and a good sauce. A wide choice à la carte to satisfy every craving, from the most rustic to the most refined (with escalope of foie gras or truffle mayonnaise, for example).

Five Guys, the best fast food
Even though it's categorised as fast food, Five Guys remains a regular favourite for Paperjam's editorial team, and is an almost weekly stop-off point. The brand combines taste, speed and generosity. The burgers are juicy and delicious. Fully customisable, they can be put together with the vegetables and sauces you have on hand, offering a new twist every time you visit, prepared right in front of you. Vegetarian alternatives are also available, such as grilled cheese (for the more observant before devouring the whole thing, this consists of two buns turned over and grilled with cheese and a choice of side dishes). Always accompanied by chips (with the skin on and cooked in peanut oil), don't be fooled by the size of the bag: there are always more than you expect thanks to the famous scoop of extra chips, which is always a pleasure. And the cherry on the milkshake (we haven't had the courage to try the bacon one yet), with a pleasant rock soundtrack, the room is big enough to find a table and settle down without smelling the grease. And if you're still brave enough, you can pick yourself up a small punnet of peanuts on the way out for free.

Lëtzeburger, on the road
With four trucks on the road and three fixed positions (in Strassen, Foetz and Ettelbruck) there's no excuse not to come across Lëtzeburger and stop in. It's made in Luxembourg: Kirsch for the meat and Nothum bakery for the bread. What's more, they've got a great story: a couple of friends from secondary school who dream of eating burgers instead of going to the canteen. An evening of foundraising and a loan later, the adventure was launched! Almost 6 years on, their business is flourishing and employs 50 people!
