Until 12 December, entrepreneurs, designers, artists, traders or start-ups looking for a temporary commercial space in the capital's pedestrian streets can apply for the new “pop-up store” in the City of Luxembourg.
With a sales area of 120m2, this space located at 25, rue des Capucins, will open in February 2022. The City of Luxembourg is allowing proposals in the field of clothing, accessories and jewellery, home equipment, services and leisure, care and beauty, art, fashion and photography, and dry packaged food.
As for the details, the municipality stipulates that the minimum rental period is one month and the maximum six months, although an extension of up to three months is possible depending on the availability of the premises. The monthly rent ranges from €650 to €2,250 and varies according to the specific situation of the entrepreneur or trader. A general flat rate for charges is added to the rent.
This initiative is part of the city's "pop-up stores" project aimed at revitalising and supporting trade and promoting entrepreneurship in its shopping streets.
