At the Expo 2020 Dubai, which due to pandemic-related delays is taking place from 1 October 2021 to 31 March 2022, the Luxembourg government is organising an economic mission specifically for the space sector, it said on 19 August . The mission coincides with the International Astronautical Congress, an important annual event for the world’s space ecosystem. The mission will run from 24–30 October.
In partnership with the Luxembourg Space Agency, Luxembourg will attend the congress with a national pavilion with eight exhibitors: Gomspace, Ispace, LIST-ERIN, Maana, Offworld, Saturne Technology, SES and Spire.
In connection with the event, the government is inviting firms to register their attendance. Luxembourg’s chamber of commerce says it will pay for half of the registration fee (€1,090) for up to two representatives per registered company.
The fee covers access to the IAC, as well as a guided tour of the expo (with VIP access to the Luxembourg pavilion) and networking events in the presence of economy minister Franz Fayot (LSAP).
