Eight startups from Luxembourg will be selected to join the mission to Collision, a tech conference taking place in Toronto on 21–23 June. The startups will be able to exhibit their products or services at the Luxembourg stand, co-organised by Startup Luxembourg and Luxinnovation.
The visit is built into an official economic mission to Canada, put together by the economy ministry and the chamber of commerce, and which runs from 20–24 June.
“Collision is an excellent opportunity to showcase the dynamism of our national startup ecosystem,” commented economy minister Franz Fayot in . “The Luxembourg startups selected will benefit from increased visibility on the Canadian and North American markets,” he added.
The selected startups will be required to pay €1,000 for the chance to exhibit at the stand. They will also have the opportunity to apply for Collision’s “ALPHA” program, designed to showcase early-stage startups and connect them to influencers and investors.
Applications are open until 17 April and the winners will be announced on 21 April.
