A few months after leaving Luxembourg for the German capital, pastry chef Cathy Goedert seems to be blossoming and is clearly not idle as the new executive pastry chef of the Kempinski Adlon Hotel.

This is what is called taking on a new challenge: after having had her own pastry shop in the centre of Luxembourg and then a coffee shop that was as gourmet as it was discreet within the very sharp Graace Hotel in Bonnevoie, Cathy Goedert decided in the autumn of 2021 to take a breath of fresh air, the road to Berlin and the direction of the sweet offer of the emblematic Kempinski Adlon Hotel as "Executive Pastry Chef".

Just steps away from the Brandenburg Gate, she is orchestrating a team tasked with tempting those with a sweet tooth who pass through the hotel, from breakfast to takeaway cake. "It's a unique opportunity to join an establishment like this and manage a large team, which is new and exciting for me. Every aspect is interesting and discovering a new culinary culture like Berlin is both a challenge and a daily motivation", Goedert says.

So it seems that Luxembourg's talents continue to convince on the international scene! We will soon give you the opportunity to discover more about this new Berlin job with Cathy Goedert...
