Christmas markets will fill town centress with the scent of cinnamon... and sausages, mulled wine, pretzels and a joyful atmosphere. Here is a selection:
Metz. From November 24 to December 30. Voted Europe’s third most beautiful Christmas market.
Strasbourg. From 24 November to 24 December. The chalets are open every day from 11:30am.
Trier. From 24 November to 22 December. The ceremonial opening takes place on 28 November.
Frankfurt. From 27 November to 22 December. On Römerberg square.
Cologne. From 21 November to 23 December. Exuberance and illuminations.
Freiburg. From 22 November to 23 December. Medieval setting.
. From 24 November to 7 January. For the festive season, enchanting installations and decorations will be lighting up multiple locations across Luxembourg City. From markets to entertainment, young and old alike will be immersed in the magic of Christmas.
