Cocottes’ managing director Clémentine Venck is moving up a level to become group managing director of Cocottes & Co, the umbrella group that brings together the various activities launched by Stéphanie Jauquet and employs just over 400 staff.

The Tempo, Um Plateau or la Table restaurants, the Gang Foodhall, the Cocottes laboratory and shops, and soon a new concept: Cocottes Café… The activities launched by Stéphanie Jauquet have continued to expand in recent years and are now brought together under a single umbrella group: Cocottes & Co. The group will be headed by Clémentine Venck, who has been appointed group managing director and was previously managing director of Cocottes, the company she joined 11 years ago. There will be no replacement for her previous position at Cocottes.

In just over a decade of business, the group’s activities have evolved considerably around the concept of eating well. In total, the group--which is headquartered in Grass--employs more than 400 staff. The parent company is made up of a management committee chaired by Jauquet and which also employs a chief legal officer (Fatima El Ansari) and a chief financial officer (Paulo Da Costa) to bring together all the services common to the different companies (HR, communication and marketing, administration and finance, technical services).

“A new chapter, a new role and just as much food. Today, I’m taking a new step in the adventure to become group managing director of Cocottes & Co. A group rich in ideas, agility, human talent and more than ever focused on hospitality, a sector in constant change, where the customer experience is the only compass,” Venck wrote on Linkedin to announce her new role.

Venck has worked in the restaurant industry for around 20 years and trained at Vatel France and Edhec Business School. After a number of experiences in establishments in France and the United States, she was restaurant manager at Glacis by Wenge and then restaurant manager at the Café de Paris (par of the Hôtel le Place d’Armes) in Luxembourg. She joined Cocottes in 2014, initially as “food & beverage manager” before being appointed managing director in March 2017.
