The family friendly fete took place 12-14 August in Belgium, Wisconsin, about 200km north of Chicago.
“The three day festival featured music by Scheppe Siwen, a car show, art and craft fair, wine tasting from Domaines Vinsmoselle, a treipen eating contest, Luxembourg heritage displays, and lots of food and fun for the whole family,” the organisation’s Jason Bott said via email (links added by Delano).

The society “promotes Luxembourg culture and traditions, and fosters ongoing relationships between the people of Luxembourg and America,” said Bott.

In addition to organising the festival and other events, LACS runs a museum dedicated to Luxembourg-American history and genealogy research centre, promotes Luxembourg tourism and brands in the US, and assists members with dual citizenship applications.
Grand Duke Henri is the group’s high patron.
